5.0-magnitude quake hits Kermadec Islands, New Zealand -- USGS
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at 2011-11- 13 15:40 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 78.80 km, was initially determined to be at 29.69 degrees south latitude and 177.66 degrees west longitude.
