An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale rattled Hiroshima in southwestern Japan at 19:16 local time on Monday, the Japan Meteorological agency reported.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 34.9 degrees north latitude and 132.9 degrees east longitude.
