An earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale jolted Bolivia at 2:48 a.m. Beijing Time Wednesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 540 km, was determined to be at about 15.3 degrees south latitude and 65.1 degrees west longitude, the center said in a statement.
