5.5-magnitude quake hits Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan -- USGS
An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan at 1159 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 219.00 km, was initially determined to be at 36.5509 degrees north latitude and 71.0600 degrees east longitude.
