5.9-magnitude quake hits Myanmar -- USGS

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted Myanmar at 09:45:43 a.m. local time (03:15:43 GMT) on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 121.00 km, was initially determined to be at 24.9466 degrees north latitude and 95.2263 degrees east longitude.
